One of the best ways to ensure your store is successful is to be able to see who and what visitors look at when they are on your site.
Since Analytics is so powerful, we cannot possibly show you all the features is has, so this guide is a step by step walk through to install the add on so you can start tracking your traffic. Google has a very rich support center and community for any and all of your questions.
In this guide we will use the add on by Graith to install the package. This is a great free add on supplied by one if our trusted partners.
Sign up for an account at http:/google.com/analytics
You will them be prompted to enter all the information needed to open the account. Once completed, click create account.
Check your email and click the link to verify
After verification, you will see the following page, click Return to Analytics
Click on the sign up button you will be brought to the next screen
The next window is where you will be asked for your website information. Since the window is large, we have divided it into 2 parts.
In this step, name your account and enter the website you want to track. Then click, get tracking ID.
At this point, read and click accept on the Google Terms and Conditions.
Your account is now setup and you will get yout tracking ID that we will need for the Graith Analytics add on. Please keep this information in a safe place.
Now that we have successfully created our account, we need to install the Add on in our Loaded Commerce store.
In your File manager navigate to the add ons folder and upload the zip file. Once uploaded, click on the file to extract.
Once extracted, you will see the folder. We are now set to install the Add On. Also make sure to delete the zip file .
Log into you admin panel and click Add Ons.
Once on the Add Ons page, scroll down to connectors. You will now see the Analytics add on.
You will now see the setup window. Ensure that the addon is enabled, and enter the account number we saved during the Analytic accounts setup. You have the option to turn Demographics on and off.
We have now successfully added the Add on and we are ready to track our visitors.
